Buy a brand new standard Ford cam, tappets, and rockers, and it'll be lovely!

Piper make 2 FRST cam profiles specifically for T2 and T3 powered engines. Standard Ford cam runs out of puff around 6k which Piper have worked around, hence for better top-end power a high-lift cam may do the job better than standard Ford.

If you want to go to a T3 in the future, best thing to do is hold off getting a new cam till you get the T3 so you can get the matching Piper cam as the power band is shifted up the rev range to suit the T3's ability to blow harder at higher revs.

Wrong forum btw Andy - you should know better Sir ;)
