Wheel scraping

Postby MiniMe2 on Sun Feb 16, 2003 9:05 am

I have just put 14's on with 60mm tyres but it sounds like it is scraping on the inner wheel arch.

I had the standard 13" with 65mms on before and they didn't scrap. Do you think that my tyres are just to wide and that I need lower profile ones?? Any ideas on how to get rid of the scraping without just not steering :p

Buy some 5mm spacer and put them on the front hubs. Job done.

60mm tyres? I thought my standard ones were skinny at 155mm!!! :aaah: Do you mean the profile is 60? If so, then it's not measured in mms. I have 185/60/13s on and they rub on full lock, which is rather annoying :x
