I read somewhere on this forum that some1 wanted to put a induction kit on 1 ltr mk3.. but some1 else suggested that they install a K & N Bolt On filter.....
would this make the engine sound deeper ? on a 1.1 Mk3 ... ?

If so where is the cheapest/gd value place to get one ?

im guessing that your fiesta is cfi which means that it would prolly be best to get a bolt on filter [ERRR] the cfi unit is the same shape top as a carb, would sound pretty good as well, to get one look in the back section of car mags like max power or u could probably get one from halford or a near equivalent. :D

speak to x-factor motorsport (jay) regular ft user and all round good bloke

an induction kit in the true sence of the term wouldnt fit a carb or a cfi
u can either change filter and drill holes in air box or fit a bolt on filter!
there are a few diif companies which make them (same ppl as make the proper induction kits!) and loads of different suplliers!

hope this helps :D

as for the deeper sound yes!
if u want an idication u can take ur air box off and it will be a similar sound!

different ppl prefer differing brands and different ppl prefer different brands unfortunatly seems to be little in the way of actual knowledge of how each sound :(
