where can i get a 4mm spacer from that will fit behind my disc?

im fitting v6 brakes and i need a spacer to go behind the disc, will i need to get one made up or is there some tuning place thats got some made.
i was thinking of just getting a 4mm wheel spacer and cutting it down, but i know someone that done this because you could see some of the spacer behind the wheel and it later broke up when they was driving and the wheel come off
i dont want any bodges or wheels comming off so ill get one made if i cant buy one

thanks lee

Get some proper 4 or 5mm spacers. (with 4x108 holes.. so not the universal ones)
machine them down (at a place that can machine down discs) to 130mm.
place them behind the disc..

and nothing more/less dangerous that using the space in between the disc and the wheel..
