where can i get a good deal on a recon turbo

im sure ive heard a few ppl say they've got 1 for £300 exchange any 1 know anywhere cheaper or the same price or how much would a t3 conversion be and what parts do i need also does the boost not come in till 4000rpm?

iv you have a reconditionable turbo, Turbo Technics does it for 200. if not then its nearer the 400 mark. Theres a guide on the main site for the T3 conversion. as for the lag it depends on the exhaust housing, 4000 would prob be with the .63 housing. id say 3000-3500 with the .48 housing.

cheers lads phoned turbo clinic and they said they'll sort it out for £205 with a military oil seal or summat there web site looks good so i reckon im gonna go for it or maybe a t25 if i dont have to mod the oil returns.
