Postby lowridermk3zetec on Tue May 22, 2007 1:02 am

Hi there currently got shocks and springs on but I wana change to lower springs as my cars only sitting 30ml down and would like mine really low like my old fiesta. I used to have fiesta centre springs and they were good but I thought id ask on here first to see if anybody else had anyother recommendations/prices. manythanks

Just a advice. Dont go 60mm! Mine is lowered 60mm and its VERY stiff. You can feel anything laying on the road :( And 195/50-15 alloys wont fit i the front.

Just my 2cents

60mm is way too low, trust me.

As comments above I cant recomend against a drop lower than 30mm enough. The geometry is thrown so far out the car handles like poo. I certainly have no regrets changing from 60 to 30mm springs on my Fiesta

I dont really know what to do! My car handles crap in comparison to my old fiesta lowered 60ml. I know the ride is poor. I checked all my suspension components and they all look good along with new suspension kit-35ml but the car doesnt feel tight like my old one thats why I was thinking going really low again? I do understand that going this low can affect the whole set up/geomatory of the car. Im confused what to do now Anyhelp would be grateful! cheers

Sounds like a classic case of mistaking cornering with handling. Although oddly I'm convinced my FRST has more cornering ability with the 30's than with the 60's

Mate (sorry, what's your name?), no one's taking the piss, but your replies are all over the place. You need to try and form them a bit better so that they actually make sense :) And stay on topic with a bit more, and then you'll have far more sensible responses :)

No digging, just letting you know :D

We're just not right for each other, Simon. Maybe we could be friends?
