check on ebay mate, a set of 86.5mm forged pistons for a Celica GT4 were 319 quid buy-it-now, the small ends on the rods would need machinig but the cost saved on the pistons would still cover it

Hi Pisko. This is one of those "Oh, you live in Norway? Do you know that Norwegian guy...?" questions! I downloaded a couple of videos last year of a Mk6 Escort (I think), dark in colour, Escort WRC rear spoiler, 1.8 Zetec Turbo, some big vents in the bonnet, and a spyshop.no sticker on the bonnet, which you could see from the camera inside the car. The video shows him driving with a Nissan Primera Turbo too. If you know who he is, and/or how I can contact him, please let me know! :D

It won't last that long if you plan to run that much Nos with high compression pistons, if you want to run that much nos then you need a compression ratio of about 9.5:1 or a tad less

What you really need is high compression ( 13:1 or higher ) forged pistons, steel rods, and depending on how hard you want to rev it a steel crank, head work you will want oversize solid lifters, kents double valve spring kit ( stay away from the isky springs ) race cams or custom, 45mm throttle bodies or bigger, big valves and a well flowed head, and a good flowing zorst manifold. If you want to run nos then keep it low like a 50 or 75 shot.

What comp ratio will I get with high comp pistons and a multishim head gasket`u think? Will I have to take off a couple of mm on the head on topp of this to achive a 13:1 compression or will it do the trick??

Hi pisko.
I have 1.8 xr2i fiesta too. I run 90 hp of nitrous with standard pistons and rods. On dyno test I have 130 wheels horse power without nitrous. I have polished and ported head, CAI, drschrick cams. My best run with that car is 14.2. If you find a cheaper pistons and rods please tell me where to buy it because I like to boost my nitro on 200hp shoot too.

I spend around 1500 euro on my system. It is NX, NOS and JAKSA hybride system. I have nx botles, pressure gauges and nitrous filter. NOS hoses and fittings. And made in Slovenia JAKSA SOLENOIDS.
