which cam for fiesta turbo

hi guys just wondering if anyone could help me on this. the car im going to purchase this saturday has the 165 chip,full stainless and t2 turbo which cam is best suited for this set up, just to add ill be adding a hybrid t3, tubular manifold and beige injectors (not sure if that will make diff to cam spec)

any help much appreciated :)

has anyone used a newman turbo cam as iv heard good things about them?

std cam or cvh 34 and 35 will do the job just fine with your spec

Newmann with solid lifters :D

I had a cvh 35 before.. my brother has cvh 34 at the moment. I would go for the cvh 34 if buying kent. Cvh35 gave me more torque though, but less bhp than his.

Newman with solid lifters produces really good power, they are slightly noisier than using hydraulic tappets though.

More expensive.. and I fitted my previous cams, didn't even attempt to do so with the adjustable solid lifters - get it wrong and it'll eat the head. A high pressure oil pump will help everything last a bit longer too.

Not cheap though, I paid £750 to have it fitted, and re-mapped (as I'm on omex)
