i got a frst which is running a piper 285t2 and runnin 200bhp (bieges, t3 ,etc)

i have the opertunity to change my cam, i do like the piper but it makes my car alittle laggy in lower revs. Which cam gives the best torque?

The 285T2 cam is terribe for the FRST (it's no good on the Escort either but that's another story). I would opt for a Newman cam with their solid lifters. If you don't want to spend as much as that a Kent CVH35 would be my 2nd choice.

If you want torque then the Kent CVH34 is the one, designed by ahmed bayoo. best compromise between performance and drivability, it was recommended to me by burton, well lane, kent and my local tuners (i had a good phone round to get opinions)

NOTE: Use mineral running in oil for first 500 miles or you could fook the cams like I did
