CVH and Zetec tuning, suspension and braking mods.

Which engine is better ?

Which one of these engines is better for tuning, reliability etc. Ones a 1.4 cvh and the other is a 1.4 injection. Both are from a mk3 fiesta ( is the injection cvh called a cfi) thanks.

well i have a 1.4 carb 75bhp standard the cfi is 70bhp cos of the CAT, think the carb could me made faster :-?

Same engines (CVH), different management up to 94. Then the engine became designated PTE and was crap.

With the right parts, they can be taken to 140bhp. But then, for less money, the 1600CVH can do the same.

For the cost of the 130ps 1800 or 2.0L Zetec, you can have 130-140bhp straight out of the box.

Your choice...!
