What are the best HIGH LIFT CAMS I can get for my RS1800 with a budget of about £250? how much bhp would this add?

It wouldent add alot on standard setup, it may even make the car run crap, why do you want to cam it strait away?

The Rs1800 is more of tuned version of the standard 1.8. ie cams, throttle body, ecu and inlet.

For 250 squids you could find a decent 2.0 lump. Put a few new bits in like water pump, belts, gaskets etc and you'l be away with a few more bhp and torque on tap.

We fitted some reprofiled Piper cams into an Excort GTi with very good results when combined with a new chip.

Before going for cams I would sort the breathing out to try and get it to actually make the claimed 128bhp as they are always a good 5-10bhp shy.
