iB5 from a mk6 escort gti, with rear starter. Good ratios and the rear starter keeps it away from heat :)

You need the battery wiring to go with it but it's all plug and play. You will need to join 1 wire to your existing loom from the new one. You will need to use the rear starter too, the mount is different. Clutch cable yes!

You'll want a complete iB5 clutch. The release bearing is larger and has a flat bearing surface to interact with the rounded fingers of the iB5 clutch cover. Some people do it, but I don't recommend using an iB5 bearing on a BC clutch cover with flat fingers.

So best to use a complete ib5 clutch then there is a few threads saying use just the release bearing but gonna fit a new clutch anyway so I'll just get a ib5 clutch and use that any recommendations for a clutch to take some stick?
