Which iPod Controlable Head Unit

Postby D.J on Mon Jan 07, 2008 2:38 pm

Basically, i want a head unit around the £250 -£300 mark that i can plug my iPod to and can control it through the head unit. I have got a few in mind, a couple of Alpine's and a couple of Pioneers.

I know some of them will require an additional wiring harness that isn't sold with the head unit, this isn't a problem.

One question i do have though is, i have a Pioneer H/U at the mo with a CD changer. If i were to go with the Alpine, can i hook up the changer to it? I know it seems a strange request seeing as i will have iPod conectablility, but i don't want to have my iPod in the car all the time.

I need it to have 3 pre outs and a CD/MP3 mechanism.

The ones i have in mind are:

Just found these too:

Thanks in advance...
