now i have ground away my disks as far as safelypossible i think its time for some new brakes... :P

i am not after ur usual greenstuff pads and torox disks or whateva coktail tikles ur fancy, instead i want a beefy setup for any future needs i may have :oooh:

now i know with some spacers the mondeo v6 brakes make a tidy conversion but these are as rare as rocking horse poo in the breakers and i dont really wanna start paying 300 quid for pumaspeed jobbies!

i have seen somenice brakes on a 2.0 mondy in the beakers i fancy, think it as a p reg, may these fit?

if not are there any other more common beefy set-ups other than the v6 that i can use?

cheers jim.

(its a mk4 btw ;))

You need need the Mondeo caliper bolts but a part from that AFAIK they will fit fine

Ferodo DS200 pads with new ferodo, ford or similar vented disks may be a good idea too :D

Don't limit yourself to Ford - the m16 type caliper is common to vauxhall's, Saab and some Volvo's - have a look at some vectras -all you need is a matching Ford disc and some adapters making up (some even look like they'll go straight on)
