While i save up for a new lump for me motor and the insurance thats gonna come with it. I need to spruce up my 1.1 HCS i think it is. Can anything done to this thing that will allow me to accelerate faster than a Skoda witha an 80 yr old behind the wheel ? And get it over 90 on the motorway so im not embarrassed by being overtaken by f00kin HGVs ??????

Get the iB5 box out of a Fiesta RS1800. The gears will give little, or no improvement, or even reduce acceleration, but the top end will be better, especially if you have a 4-speed lump at the moment, and will be much stronger for the Duratec V6 I know you want to install ... maybe :grin:
