Took it to a local meet today forgot just how much i love theses cars lol altho you can really tell the suspension components needs changing they are very tired so better find some new one. Can anyone tell me is the shocks and springs for the frst are still availible from ford? I have 1 genuine new rear shock but thats it and dont wanna lower it!

Tanya has driven it down road but shes not insured so she cant really drive it hehe.

Its very good to drive the fastest standard one i have driven. As with all old cars there are alway little things but i have a BIG! list of things to do its just finding time to do them with having an 18 month old lil lad lol

It needs a full suspension overhaul the shocks are very worn tracking badly out so that will get all replaced and cleaned up,
Brakes are good but again going to overhaul them as well front and rear,
Engine wise i'm very happy its been very well looked after but i have a few things to do on it like valve seam oil seals just starting to go, cam belt and tensioner, water pump, aux belt then a good service and she'll be fine. Prob change the accelerator and clutch cable as well at some point.

Other than that its just cleaning things and getting it looking minty mint.

Some bad news tho is it might not be coming to FITP anymore

Well as the car is out of tax tomorrow thought i would take opportunity and start to strip out the engine bay for a good clean etc.

Started tonight i'm hoping its only going to take a few weeks (Famous last words)

Cleaning and polishing for a start but areas will be getting some paint like the batt tray etc.
