Re: White Fiesta RS Turbo - Updated 12/07
Well its about time i updated this unfortunatly since tax ran out shes been tucked up in garage but i have started to clean the engine bay.
Dismantled most of the bay and its been degreased and washed still need to take the master cylinder and servo off going to hopefully do it this weekend then can get the bulkhead cleaner. But over all very happy with how its coming on. Need to pull my finger out plan to have it back on road by 01/08 then it mega polishing time for ford fair!
Do you all like my new rocker cover?
Few Piccys
Sneek Peak at my new car as well

Looking lovely mate
I would have the rocker cover the standard colour to fit in with the rest of the car, doesnt look right in a non standard colour on this car imo
Each to their own though

Re: White Fiesta RS Turbo - Updated 18/02
Well the cars been sat in my garage now for 7 months with no love finally got some motivation to start to get it back together.
I wanted to buy a few more new bits but thought its about time i started to use the car again as i'm missing driving it.
This is now it started
Started putting the brakes all back together painted them black front and back.
HORRIBLE old servo
Nice fresh one
All Fitted hope i did it right lol
Inlet back on and its getting there
The car is covered in crap so soon as its started it will be washed lol
Got a few little bits to buy next week then will crack on next weekend and hopefully get it running again then its MOT, Tax and Insurance time.

Re: White Fiesta RS Turbo - Updated 29/02
Well it has been eventful to say the least on sunday i got the car back together looked great started to fill with water and had leaks sorted most but one was from the inlet so i had done something wrong took it all back off and the idiot that i am didnt clean the caked on old gasket on the head so it was leaking. I put it down to the 7 months its been sat there i had forgot lol
So cleaned it up last night and put it back together again its not fully together theres some finishing to do but filled with coolent no leaks (YET)
HOWEVER went to start it and nothing looks like the old alarm system that on that car has kicked back in and wont prime the fuel pump so i'm getting no fuel to the engine. Will be getting someone out to have a look at it as i have no idea about stuff like this and would end up cutting the wrong wires or something lol.
This is BEFORE
This is how it ended last night. Still bits to put back on like the HT Lead seporators etc and the brakes need filling up and bleeding.
Before anyone says i know the rocker cover is not quite the right colour its to silver but looks okay for now maybe if it annoys me i'll get it changed but nevermind.

Re: White Fiesta RS Turbo - Updated 29/02
looking good mate, rocker cover looks fine to me that colour.
have you done any checks on the car to see why its not priming? if could be that theres a bit of corrosion on a connection rather than a alarm.
i would check to see if you have forgot a wire on the battery, its easy doen as it slips down the side and you dont even notice, ive done a few times.
if all wires are connected to the battery (and all earths to the sterring coloum support) i would check the fuses, then the green relay (clean the contacts) then pull the fuel cut off switch out and check it hasnt been tripped, then unplug it and check with a meter to see if your getting power, you have to hold the probes in there and look at the meter while someone else turns the key as it only primes for a second, and if you aint looking at the meter, your miss it.
if you got power there, then trip and reset the fuel cut off switch a few times and check with the meter to see if your getting continuity throught the switch, if you are reconnect it, reset it, then go pull the plug off the sender and check again that your getting a 12v when priming, if you are, and the puymp still dont prime when its reconnected, i would wd40 the plug then try again, if still no priming, the fault is the sender, pump or surpressor (black box) and the surpressor would be the first thing i would bypass then try again
