o dear u do indeed have a mk2 xr2 k&n there, problem is u have the wrong one!!! thats designed for the square topped xr2 u need the later round topped carb! oops! :cry:

u cud try chopping it m8 but if u take 2 much off then ur in the sh!t cuz it will let in air that hasnt passed through the filter :o

gud luck m8 ur gonna need it lol!

I've got the exact one that fits that, its a Mk3 bolt on for 1.1 - 1.6!!
make me a decent offer and its yours.

Don't go to halfords, bout £60 there
