hey chaps, a reletive is selling this soon and ive considered jumping manufactures for a chnage and see what its like, always loved these since Gran Turismo 1 and one to come up like this is a breath of fresh air

it runs and starts sweet as a nut and ticks over lovely, interior is in good nick, as so is the body panels, the paint has faded and being on a farm mildew has paid its rent and resides on most of the lower parts of the car

only issues are the tyres will be old and worn, and the brakes also will need seing as theyre old rotten and likely need new discs as its been stood for a while


heres some pictures











intent on having it as a play thing and evidentially get it mot'd and drive it as the insurance isnt much more than the Si, and its alot more special than an everyday fiesta, 130brake or not

so please let me know what you guys think

now i forgot to add, its a Toyota MR2 naturally, G limited (love the name alone )
2.0 16v non turbo, they make about 158bhp at standard, Mid engined, rear wheel drive

K reg so 1992 or so, its an import, and bog standard only slight downside is its an auto

it has 146k on the clock but im not sure if it were kilometers or miles :S

you can never have too many cars, and people have done far more with alot less
its marely a bit of mildew and faded paint, a pressure wash will get the plants off and hes said he will bring the paint back to life, hes a fantastic body specialist

146k and auto and sorry to say its a shed, that would be a no from me, why not look at saving cash up and buying a decent one?

id scarcely be paying for it, id sell the escort for £400-£500, id go down with an A frame and pull it home

no losses there, one car project for another, AND being my mother to hopefully buy it i can see use from the escort and or use it myself one day

the price would be £300 as it is, with a new spare wheel, pumped up tyres and a buffted up paint job, it should be redish by that point

What you mean you got slated? Just saying if your skint then don't do it the Thing will turn to a money pit, why not look at eunos roadsters and old mx5 if you must buy another car, they are the best rwd 2 seated for good money and no1 can argue .

Or why not sell the fez and get a good Jap car like a celica gt4, could pick up a vtec for a grand

if it fails tto be in good nick after some digging i break it and sell the engine, wheels, bumpers interior, weight the shell in etc etc, i cant fail imo

Also dragged my mrs into it because he says there was a girl laughing in the background. I had nothing to do with it and his evidence was basically it was me because I'm the only English accented person he knows with his number. The person who did it has told me but they won't publicly admit to it sadly. He's still adament it was me and can't be told otherwise. What I never understood was why he felt the need to make a public rant about it especially with no proof. Ah well, he's gone now, tit.
