Will 16's with 45 profile scrub at 35/40mm??
Basically my AVO coilovers need referbing on the front end, so they are soft and bouncy as hell at the moment, and causing the wheels the scrub.
I am using 16" Fox Evo 3's with 195 45 tyres on, the coilovers are set pretty low but I never scrubbed with 205 40's on previously!
While I send them away for a referb or even take them off completely I was hoping that using 35/40mm springs will be stiff / good enough to stop any scrubbing on the front, if so I might look for a full set of suspension like spax etc and take the coilovers off

Im thinking they might a wee bit mate. Check with mikey I think he might be running on that height but not on 16's.
I doubt it would be serious rubbing, you could always get the arches rolled or trim them yourself.

Not a problem now
My avos were fooked, so fitted some shocks and lowering springs, sat at around 40mm or so on front, very close by no scrubbing.
I dont have any arch lips what so ever on my cars, as I have a habit of running wide or big wheels instead of being sensible
