Will a cvh 1800 crank fit an xr2i gearbox?

Hi, hope someone can help???

I've got the option of using a cvh bottom end thats fitted with an 1800 crank - but will this fit my xr2i gearbox?

I've read in the CVH tuning guide that the two are not compatible, is this true? if so could they be altered so that it will fit or is there some sort of fitting that can be bought?

Or should i start looking for a different gearbox altogether? if so which one am i best off with?

Anyone with any experience of this would be much appreciated
