Sorry to be a downer m8, but unless you're a Fairy Godmother and have a majic wand (turbo'd, of course), there's little chance anything bigger than a 15 or thin 16 will fit - don't even think about 17s!

Sorry (but it'll save you £300 on wheels & tyres - think what you could get with that! Just a few pies! )

Cheers m8, those dare rims look quite rude and they come in 16's or maybe a set of 16" mondeo rims.

Alright mate, i'm going for 17's on my mk2, with a 50mm drop using Spax shocks and Fiesta centre springs.

As for how much work the needs to be done, it's more that just rolling arches but a good bodyshop should be able to do the work.

I'll be running my 17's about mid April, just after Donny, the spax kit is arriving next week and I have to wait till next month for the alloys(don't know what alloys yet) and then to a mate who works in a bodyshop to do the arch work and a few other things.

The person you need to talk to is Crazy Dave who is on this board sometime or leave a FOA to him on the xrownersclub board.

Regards

Gareth

If you look in the current issue of 'Revs', there is a mk2 with 17's, but apparently, they had to grind away most of the arches, and they still catch.

Might use 16's instead (can't be a***d to f**k about gringing arches and still rubbing) and then there's the price of rubber.

m8 how much did you or are you going to pay for the 50mm springs (i want some because with 13" my car is really low but with 15" it's like a land rover)

The 50mm springs are from the Fiesta Centre, can't remember how much they cost
