Have it done professionally or be very embarrassed. You need a heat gun and some experience to tint your own windows, or a very steady hand and some experience.

You may be able to convince the tinting place to knock a bit off if you remove the glass yourself and clean it up (petrol and a cloth, and/or an old green pad should do it) - mine cost me £50 for the lot.

Light smoke at the front is legal, and any reflectives with less than 35% light reflection also. If your rear side windows are not legal, make sure you have two roadworthy mirrors outside as you will technically be a van.

UK AutoFilm in Swanley, Kent, but I did the front two windows my self - you could probably get them to do you a brilliant job but like I said, you'll be doing everything bar the tinting yourself.

It's putting it on that's hard, not charged by tint (unless they're complete cowboys).

Glass is easy enuf to remove - getting it back in is a trick, but once you've done one, it's dead easy. Take a trip down to your local tinters and have a chat. If they can't be arsed to talk to you, find another place.

i reckon the light smoke subtle window tints look the best. black windows seem to be the main focal point of the car. who wants to look at black glass? u`d get pulled over and have ur car searched for herbs the delia smith has never used in her cooking :Q aight
