Wiper niggles!

I have a couple of problems with my wipers. 1, the rear wiper doesn't work at all, and 2, the intermittent wiper function just makes the wipers run at normal speed. I'm wondering because both of the problems are on the same stalk it could be the stalk itself?

Any insight would be much appreciated!

Try cleaning the contacts in the boot both on the lid and the panel, might be the motor failure for intermittent

Did try cleaning the contacts, but I'll give it a better going over. Wouldn't the motor failure mean they wouldn't work at all?

Mine also does that on the intermittent setting, probably the relay but meh!!

I just thought of it today as I was out in really light rain and the wiper just seemed overkill.
