Postby rtlee88 on Tue Jun 13, 2006 2:14 pm

Hey guys! mmm may sound stupid but i have a 1200w 1/2 channel sony xploder amp which i was using on my 2 mutant subs, but i would much rather have a desent all round loud but not bassy sound system, so is there any way of wiring the front two speakers and back two to the amp even though its only 2 channel and just forgeting about the subs??? Many Thanks Ryan

You could try to replace the wiring but even then you are up against it as all the wires go through a sort of detachable interface between the car and the door.

So long as you are not running huge amounts of power into the doors why not get a wiring loom harness from halfords or somewhere and use the speaker plug to run the amp'd signal back through the original wiring loom? It solves your problem and I know each channel can take upto 400watt maybe more.
Those that can, do; and those that can't, talk about it.

Alright mate! mmm i got my subs from a place called street racer where i live, but as far as i know they are the same ones that halfords has! the two 10inch i think subs in a carpeted box! yeah it sounds quite good for fairly cheap subs, however cause im using a 1200w amp they are a little too loud! you can barely hear your normal speakers!
