just tryed to fit my new wishbones to the car only to find that the ball joint on the new wishbones is thicker and shorter than what is already on and it wont go in the hub, now just been back to frauds and checked some other wishbones but there the same, any ideas? :-? :-?

Sounds like its off a lower spec model. Go to the parts counter and specify exactly what it is, make model and year and if they cant give you a guarantee of the right bit, walk away.

gave them the reg and chassis no but still no joy, anybody know how many variations there are? :-?
