Wot do i need 2 do to colour code my bumpers of a mk3 please

dont bother mate.not worth the hassle if ure gonna get XR/RS bumpers on the future.i just got my RS rear an was gonna spray the front but ive changed my mind.cant be bothered with all the hassle then just chucking it away once ive got my turbo front.

but whats the point in modding a car an judt havin colour coded bumpers?its ok if ure gonna get the underbumper thingy like lou.but why do it an waste money wen u can use the time/money to buy an install ice etc etc.

WTF? what cost more, a few cans of paint or an RS bumper with lights? Now whos got more to spend on ICE? :rolleyes:

Jay - if you wanna colour code your bumpers go for it, looks better than RS ones IMHO, and will cost a lot less. Whith your car being a 5 door (if i remember rightly!) you would only be able to get the RS bumpers on not the skirts and arches. I don't think that looks right, and the 5 door doesn't look right with RS bumpers at all. What colour is the car and does it have black under the bumpers?

Here's the underbumper like chooseyourdestiny was talking about: Image I didn't colour code the bumper myself though. It was all done by the bodyshop.

U may be able to buy the std bumpers already coded from a scrappy, as some models had them.

Fiesta_steve the cars silver and it just has a black front and back bumpers

so if i wana keep the bumpers i got i need 2 colour code them, if i want new bumpers theres no point is that rite???
