k ive done up a 1.6 si at da mo and wana keep the shell...but feel i may go into racing it on tracks in the summer...thererfore i want an engine conversion...i have 2 choices..

1) put a 1.8 turbo (if they come in 1.8) in it..- which means i can tune it to buggery

or
2) put a 2 litre mondeo in there...

which in your oppinions wud be faster in the long run?

i know a 2 litre is faster than a 1.8 but cuz the 1.8 is a turbo and the 2 litre isnt...the 2 litre cudnt be modified that much could it? wer as the turbo cud?
