would knackered wheel bearings effect handling?

would knackered wheel bearings effect handling?
mine is knackered on the left hand rear wheel and the car feels quite unstable it feels like the back end is sliding all the time. would the bearings be causing this?

oh dear, if i get a new one then will the camber, castor and everything will it go back to normal or will that need sorting out aswell?

Was driving a mini a few years back and the front offside wheel locked up and then fortunately released, so I could park up and call the RAC.
I'd say that was affecting the handling!

It was. She was towed on the back wheels. However it was still a slightly brown trousers moment. Mini's hey!
