well no update as such as i havent touched the car in a while, although i did look in on it yesterday to check all was well.

now, the roof of the workshop does leak a little, were talking a drip, and i put a load of plastic up to catch it and everytime im out there i drain the water off, but seeing as i havent been there for a while i expected a fair bit of water and the plastic to of been ripped down.

oh, no, not that simple! there was so much water on the plastic (approx 12 gallons me and my dad drained off) that it had pulled the wood cladding off the wall, snapped the batton that was screwed to the wood cladding, bent a bit of alloy dexicon (if thats how its spelt) and hung down like a massive pair of b0llocks!
the only way to sort it was to slice the plastic and drain it into a cone then down some gutter into buckets

pics not great as i didnt fancy switching lights on with all that water above it!









so gotta repair all that before i can crack on with the car now, which will be in a couple weeks

its so high, you could have room for a 4 post lift and a second floor in there.
plus its all welsh slate thats got nail rot, touch it and ill be there for ever! not the sort of thing i wanna do this time of year

this is the outside, its a apex roof, although as you can see, ivy is all over it, and with the nail rot, if i try pull that off its gunna bring all the slates down
scaffold, summer, will see it sorted, well, if i get time

cant mate, for a few reasons

1, its not my building, its my aunts and uncles
2, thats a horrid way of doing it
3, dont have money for doing it yet
4, dont like hights
5, belive it or not, its a listed building, take slate off, slate MUST go back on

for anyone wondering, as of now the project is on hold for a bit for a few different reasons, none of which i wanna put up on the forum at this point untill i know more about whats going on with the outside problems that are/might or will stop it, but theres a very good chance she wont see ford fair this year.

no jokes about it please guys, the reasons that could put this on hold are out of my control at this point
