XR2 Suspension

Is this suspension lower than my 1.1 mk3 Fiesta's ?

And if so, will it fit onto mine ?

I've just put XR2i suspension on my car. It's gas-operated rather than oil, and is firmer. In the Ford Fiesta Owner's Manual it tells you that XR and RS models of the Mk3 Fiesta sit 24mm lower than the base models, but I found that SOME XR2is were an inch lower than base models, but some were the same, only with gas shocks. I think the set I got were off one of the standard height cars (although I THINK it may sit ever so slightly lower at the front than it used to - possibly down to my heavy engine). I think most 16v 2is were 24mm lower, and some 8v, depending on age etc, so the best way would be to see the car with them fitted before buying. They'll fit, because the XR2i was a Mk3.

HTH :)

P.S. I bought all four struts for £50, including the lad driving about 20 miles to deliver them, so you shouldn't really be paying more than £40 for OE suspension.

I've just realised - you were asking about XR2 suspension, and I was rambling on about XR2i suspension, as was extreme-fiesta  So many ppl call XR2is XR2s anyway, so maybe that's what you meant?! If you DID mean XR2, then I'm not sure about it fitting, as it will be off a Mk1 or Mk2 Fiesta, so it's all a bit different...someone on here will know I'm sure! :D
