blimey !
its been a while since i saw the progress on this. Paint work is beyond amazing even if it is a red car.
cant help thinking it would look better with some amber indicators

Well at ET16 and 6J, they're going to stick out 16mm more than standard XR2 wheels which are ET32 and 6J if I remember rightly? Or are the originals 5.5J? If so, then they may stick out a bit more!
Depends how low and stiff you're going to go, and how close the original wheels were to the arches already?

very nice mate.
good call with the 6j, the mk2 can be a bit of a pain for wider wheels

Re: Xr2 zetec project update new wheels
On the rear with the fiesta mk6 steels my mk2 is running im having to use 12mm hub centric spacers to allow clearance from the trailing arms rubbing the tyres.
Up the front i use 5mm spacers to allow clearance from the shock cup rubbing the tyre.
6j wheels will defo give you some issues so choose your tyres carefully !

Are these the ET16 wheels? If so, I'll be surprised if you need any spacers!
