Xr2i 16v injectors!!

A friend of mine has an xr2i 16v, does anybody know what colour injectors they should have standard??

Not sure on the 1.8 but a 2.0 has brown injectors

XR2i 16v and RS1800 injectors are both black :)

A guy I know has and xr2i and it's running s**t, he thinks it's the injectors, he currently has green ones!!

Hmm, the little round caps are green, if that's what you mean? But the main injector body is black.

I haven't actually seen it but I've been informed it's just the caps that are green, what a tit :lol:

Runs ok over 3000 revs, said he's checked leads plugs and coilpack

Probably lambda sensor if it's fine over that sort of engine speed. Have you tried unplugging it and seeing if it runs any better?
