Hi im looking for a CVH 1.6 engine from the XR2i only (110ps)

needs to coem with the inlet complete: injectors, TB preferably with the crossover intake pipe and maf also

also need the exhaust manifold and downpipe is prefered but not essential


be nice if i can get some history with it


let me know what you got, must be a decent runner
( i do not need the gearbox etc )

exactly mate, the clutch has begun to slip on the 1400, so for a little more of what a clutch kit costs i can get a 1.6 engine with a clutch on (or replace it and still have more power)

but i cant sell the car now with the clutch going, so f**k it it will stay till i have a use for her


any details there Snake? mileage, any history? price, location?


im not in no hurry as the car doesnt get driven even before the clutch showed signs

Probably about 50 times what a clutch costs lol, unknown mileage-spent most of its life on a test rig then briefly in a car, history-ford prototype engine one of only a few left.

theres only 3 of them in the world, was a ford prototype engine made by schrick that was never commisioned and ordered to be destroyed but a few wernt! im sure "snake" was the guy who came accross one a while back in a bucket?
