Xr2i and Turbo efi
Is there much difference, as on mine the irv is mounted on the car not the efi unit.
Ive seen some turbos with the irv mounted on the efi unit, or did some of the turbos have it on the bonnet rubber, just under the bottom of the windscreen, like mine is

Location of ISCV has no effect on the management system.
Bottom of ECU will have an OFAB or OFAC label indicating the type of management on turbo engines. If there's no sticker it *might* not be an FRST management system.

ummm i "think" all turbos should have the ISCV on the EFI unit ! only XR2is had it on the bulkhead !
Snake should put me right as usual on this one but i htink u must have a XR2i not turbo inlet system maybe head i dunno but all the turbos i have seen and ive been told they all had the ISCV on the EFI unit !
i have no idea if this has any effect on anything as alex said
i also have no idea if wot i said is true i was told this by someone who is converting there XR3i cabriolet to frst spec power he said he needed to change the EFi inlet sytem to one with the ISCV mounted on the EFi unit !
thats all lol Snakes turn to tell me im wrong
