xr2i backbox on a 1.1 standard system?

CVH and Zetec tuning, suspension and braking mods.

I know someone that is selling they're XR2i Piper DTM backbox for a price hard to refuse. Would it join onto a standard exhaust system at the same point as the xr2i standard system?

Also where can i get hold of a reducing flange (i think it's called that!) so that it won't leak where the backbox connects onto the standard piping?

Cheers

It won't go straight on, although it may just be a case of fitting a reducer. The chassis is the same on all models, so the rubbers will all be in the same place, although you may need to take a trip down your friendly exhaust manufacturer (try powerflow:wink:.
