Postby mattfiesta1987 on Sat Mar 17, 2007 9:18 pm

i have now recently bought a 2i in moondust silver on a j plate.

i wish to fit bigger brakes i remember seeing on here that sierra 4x4 calipers fits.

what brakes fit with little mods i dnt mind spacing them.

also i have no airbox i wish to fit a kn filter but i dnt know what i need all i have is the big plastic bit that cums from the efi unit the air intake.

any help would be good.

does anyone know if my xr2i comes standard with a lower strut brace?
cheers

Serria Saph Cosworth 4x4/ Escort Cosworth Brakes are a straight swap but do need slightly longer bolts and spacers to be used!

Also they require the fitment of 15" wheels and even then they can be incredibly tight. We had to remove the wheel weights and have them balanced another way as they fouled on the caliper.

The K&N induction kit has everything you need to fit it all you will need to do is make sure you get the right one as there are two listed. One is for the Hitachi ISCV equiped car and the other is for the Webber ISCV equipped car. Seeing as the Webber type would be attached to the airbox lid and you say this is all missing it would make sense for you to have the Hitachi valve. Post a pic of your bay so we can identify this before you part with money

You need to put the weights back on just they go on in a different place to clear the caliper. You can't drive with unbalanced wheels it would be horrible

I'm assuming you mean XR4x4 not Cossie 4x4. In which case I don't think they will fit
