xr2i centre console bracket

Problem or technical question?

xr2i centre console bracket

Postby ChristophXR2i on Sat Mar 21, 2015 11:33 pm

Hi!
New to fiesta's, I have just bought a 1991 Radiant Red XR2i. I also have a 2.8 capri special.

When I purchased the car it had a xr3i centre console fitted. Looked ok but I like the original look so sourced a original part.

I have secured it to the two brackets under the dash but there doesn't seem to be a logical way to fit the rear of it to the floor pan.

I am assuming there is a bracket needed?

Can someone advise or upload a photo of what the bracket looks like?

Appreciate your help.

Chris

There should be a black Z shaped bracket for the rear part of it mate, the consol is fixed to this brack via 2 screws under the gator.
I assume your missing this bracket? I believe I have one, may even be on one of my for sale listings that are linked in my sig.
If there's not, I know I have one in the shed as I saw it the other day looking for something
