XR2I/FRST lightened and balanced flywheel

CVH and Zetec tuning, suspension and braking mods.

I need a new flywheel a lightened and balanced would be best ASAP.

Where can I get one out right
mine has had its days, clutch face is heavily worn and is unlikely to be serviceable upon being re faced. :sad: HELP !!!!

Not really much point is balancing it without the crank, don`t lighten them they will explode-just do a light skim if nessercery..

U can get one from a scrappy cheap, and just skim it-should cost around £35 to skim

Or u could get a Burtons steel flywheel :grin: , not sure what kind of effect this will have though as its quite a bit lighter and may effect driveability..

No tried them, thay have one for the zetec (mines a zvh) part no FZ250 it takes a 216mm clutch for a RWD and thay don't do a cvh EFI one. Got one from Specialised Engines standard recon for £95.

Been told that Raceline sell a steel flywheel ( 6kg ) that fits the zetec crank, takes a 220mm CVH clutch and fits inside the RST box can anyone can confirm this.

Ermm, i asked burtons in november ish about a flywheel and said they could make one for an efi!!, a couple of weeks to do it though..

Thay can make one up :eek: !!!!! Ill call them up on monday. Thay didn't tell me that :mad: you think thay would do to make some money don't you think.
What was the cost to have the just the EFI flywheel made up snake.
