xr2i fuel pump erst conv

hi i have an xr2i and can get an erst engine with all ancilliaries fairly cheap but 1 thing i was wonderin b4 i do this is the xr2i engine is efi with the pump in the tank so if i put an erst engine in (mfi) will i have to change the tank or just disconnect the fuel pump wiring or something else any help would be greatly appreciated. cheers or do nothing?
