CVH and Zetec tuning, suspension and braking mods.

i have currently got a 4 speed gearbox in my fezzie mk3 1.1 and need a 5th gear for motorway driving and have been offered an xr2i gearbox by a mate. i know it would physically fit (there's not exactly a shortage of space under the bonnet!!) but what else would be needed to make it work i.e. are the gear linkages different and the mounts?

Oh, Oh OH, I was looking at doing this, cos I hate pushing my fessy at 70mph - screams tremendously. I was wondering if maybe my gear ratios were wrong - when I am doing 30-40, and I change up from 3rd, and dont put foot back on accelerator, the car pulls back. seems a mightly low speed for 4th gear dont it? :???:
