xr2i inlet manifold

hi im comeing to the end of my rebuild and i ve got the inlet off a xr3i with the p shaped does it make any difference in power between the standard xr2i round port or the turbo p shaped

i have the manifold what needs the adapter plate but is there any gains from using a manifold from the turbo

the p-shape inlet is designed for the E F I injectors......if your car is efi then use the p-shaped one...the adapter plate shown is for a non efi cylinder head to accept a efi inlet.. :rolleyes: IF your asking about cylinder heads then id say with this adapter plate fitted then there would'nt be any difference between the two :)

2i and rs inlet manifold is the same, juts 1 sensor is different

its the charge air temp sensor (ACT) which in in the right hand side of the inlet as you look at it.

the front bumper i have is a cosworth one

forgot to say, the injector loom is differet, but the only differece is the plug for the different sensor, so you can use your loom is you change the plug

yea kid i brought it off said it was a manifold off a turbo so i wasnt shaw about it on a xr2i

if its got the sensor in from the 2i then its a 2i manifold mate, not a rs one
