xr2i knocking help anyone?

xr2i knocking help anyone?

Hi all..iv got a xr2i whats recently had a mot i was told the bushes was fine no play anywere..when i go over small bumps in the road im getting a knocking sound from the drivers side... Can anyone help thanks :)

Hard to tell from what you said mate could be a nut bumping about somewhere :-? :-? best idea is just to jack it up and have a look about id bet it was a droplink ,,before you jack it up reach in and give it a wiggle ,its easier to feel play from a dl if its on the ground

Jack it up on that side and check for play in the top mount too

Iv changed drop links...iv ordered some new strut top bushes and arb bushes so going to do both sides see if that fixes it if not ill replace both wishbones aswel

check the drop link nuts has i had the same problem after fitting new ones
