XR2i Mods

CVH and Zetec tuning, suspension and braking mods.

I've just bought a J plate XR2i which is totally standard apart from the wheels. What mods should I do first. I aint got a lot of money though. Also I've got one of those Ekotec CB26P things, are they anygood and shall I fit it? :???:

if youve got wheels i say slam it, that will get the exterior "acceptable :smile:". Then its induction kit, exhaust and chip.

New manifold next maybe......then its up 2 you mate

Get an Induction, zorst, that's a good start and if you have the cash get a chip, cam and head work :wink:

I think lowering will be first. The car is running 15's, how low can I go without any problems? :???: I've fitted the Ekotec valve so I'll have to see if it's any good, it makes a stupid noise so if anyone buys one get the silencer as well.

You can lower it -60mm no ploblem if you are running 195/45/15's my 2i is lowered about -80mm :grin:

What offset ? (ET)
and what size of wheels ? 6.5*15, 7*15 ?

springs, back box and induction kit first mate. then comes the chip, maybe cams, head work etc etc :wink:

I don't know the offset or how wide they are I'll find out.
