Problem or technical question?

xr2i steering UJ advise

Hi there wonder if anyone can give me some advise..im going to change my steering uj on the fez at weekend iv had a quick look and theres not much room at all...does anybody know the best way to go about doing this? Thanks

don't really have any words of wisdom, but its a bast@rd of a job tbh! done it a few times and its very very tight in there, best advice I could give would be to have someone else there to help you when lining it all back up again!

It doesn't look easy, but I found the best way is to do it from underneath, as long as the two bolts come undone easily I just used a screwdriver to lever it off both ends. Make sure you lock the steering wheel before starting though or chances are it will be misaligned when the new one is on

Thats what i thought when i seen it it looks a right ball ache..thanks for the info ill
Mark it with paint to make it easier to line back up.
