you will need,

engine, gearbox, loom, ecu, fuel tank,
(as yours is a 1.4, you won't need radiater)

I got it all for sale for a measely sum of £250

not to hard to fit either

You might be able to get away with just changing the lump and injectors, and having a Unichip (I know...) to adjust the fuelling, although it's a long shot. You've basically got a derivative of the CVH in there already and a lot of the running systems will be common... but Mark Stewart's your man for those answers

De-cat it

I think a standard 8v 2i exhaust and manifold should go straight onto your exhaust hangers

It doesnt go on the qge of the engine - it's the age of the car!!!!!!

ALL CARS AFTER '92 need a cat by law!!!

It doesnt go on the qge of the engine - it's the age of the car!!!!!!

ALL CARS AFTER '92 need a cat by law no matter what engine!!!

This also means that any enigine can be put into a pre '92 car without a cat!!

What i meant is if the engine that goes in the car is desgined to run without a CAT then u need documented proof of the engines age (comes from a pre 92 car) it is then exempt from having 1.

if u can prove the engien is from a car before cats were interduced then ull b ok if not then i dont think it will work as this was one of the reasons the 8v was not used as it would not comply with emission laws set after 92
