You will need some forged pistons for a start. And the block will need a oil return machining into it, or you could weld a return on the sump. ive had mine machined. You will also need all the frst management side of it, loom ecu ecs. And the crank is diferent between the 2i and frst, but im not to sure if its needed or if the 2i one will do.

my mate says he can change the ecu 2 run the turbo and he said he will weld the return into the sump.part from the caharge carrier is there anything else?are the pistons 2 change the compression?he said somthing about using 2head gaskets or getting a spacer thing 2 sort that but unsure if this would work.

You can use the 2i block but you still need the low comp piston's so it's easyer just to stick the frst bolck in there as it's less messing around you can covert the 2i loom but still easyer to just get a frst loom as you will need the sensor's and you will need the ecu intercooler rad pipe work

I would just make an offer on the hole car then sell any bit's off i didn't want I would do a compression test on it there only £20 odd pounds to buy and easy to use that will tell you if and piston's are on there way out
