Im getting a decomp plate, spoken to the seller and a 1.5mm plate with my head skimmed 16thou will give 7.8:1, will this be low enough?

hi!

:-? my deco plate has 2mm and give me a 8,3:1 cr.
with 1stock 1,8mm gasket.
i use it for 5000km with 10-14psi boost without any problem.

yes thats plenty low enough i am running 7:8:1 on my zvh will eventually be on 30psi
gt 2876r aka gt25/40r roller bearing turbo, L8 ecu, 850cc injectors mapped by msd to 12psi with LC & AL closed loop 30+ psi soon

just looked at zetec-turbo.co.uk and by looks of it im being fed s**t about the compression ratio, will be more like 8.8!
