Zetec (1.6 Si) fuel pump - do any others fit and work?
Hi guys,
My fuel pump has gone a bit temperamental, and I've diagnosed the fault as either the pump dying out due to age and usage or the wires on the plug - resistance on the wires on the plug show no breaks according to the multimeter, well at the plug end, I still need to check the rest of the loom though.
My main question is that if the pump is at fault (will confirm when removed and tested), do any others from any other ford models fit as a standard replacement item with the same fuel connections and pressure that the pump provides?
I've been looking around the internet for zetec pumps but cannot see anything for sale as of yet - especially for a zetec model. They seem to be quite rare

I have a spare uprated Walbro pump but it's only the bare pump itself, no float or bracket etc. Welcome to it if it's any use?

I'm after a standard fit item just to save messing around at the moment, but they aren't east to find
