Any 2.0 with the same style cam cover as your present engine you will need to swap the sump and oil pick up pipe, the 1800 ecu ect will be calibrated and set up wrong for the 2.0 ideally you need the ecu ect from the same car as the engine. also use your flywheel

Silver topped cover.. Use you`re maf sensor and injection system/manifold etc, and the best thing to do is chip it using a Unichip..

Have you got a chipped key, u should have a red master key and a black key with a red blob on the top, also around the ignition barrel is the receiver thingy.. I should use the 2 litre cams..

You will find that the cams and throttle body on a RS1800 is the same as a Mondeo 2.0 Zetec.

I agree with the earlier statement, i have an rs1800, and have raced an xr2i with 2l zetek engine, who do u think won, not the 2l anyway.
I wouls stick with the rs1800, although the 2l is more tunable, the power difference it would give you wouldnt be worth the cost.
Buy a stg3 head for the same kind of money.

You'll have to replace the water pump too, as the serpentine belt on the 2.0 Mondy drives the pump in the opposite direction to the 1.8 installation. And the flywheel needs changing as the 2.0 Mondy f/w is too big to fit the Fiesta gearbox. Check out my site for more details. http://www.zetecinside.com

mondeo 2 litre went through 3 inlet cam changes during its life

zetec boys if you want to up the power in your engine change the inlet cam only for best effects - the standard cams are in fact very wild (dave) to make up for a very restrictive head.
